Only days before the head-coach of Croatian National Team Neven Spahija would announce 12 players for the European Championship, Marino Baždarić sprained his ankle and will have to skip the tournament.

Baždarić, who signed the contract with Cibona in the previous week, injured during the practice in Spain and will be replaced by Damir Rančić in the NT.
